Biography
Lisa's cases often have an international dimension, whether litigating in London on behalf of international clients or acting for UK and non-UK based clients in multi-jurisdictional disputes. She has experience of resolving disputes through other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
Lisa advises a wide range of clients including financial institutions, high net-worth individuals, corporates, house builders, construction companies, and property investment companies.
She is recognised as a Rising Star in Legal 500 and was nominated as an outstanding lawyer as part of Thomson Reuters’ global research with senior in-house counsel.
Lisa joined DAC Beachcroft as a trainee solicitor in September 2011 and qualified in 2013; she is now a Partner in the firm.

- Acting for the Railways Pension Scheme (one of the UK’s largest and longest established pension funds) on a complex £115m partnership dispute arising out of the acquisition of a significant portfolio of assets
- Acting for CMC Markets for over 10 years on a variety of disputes, including breach of contract claims, fraud and conspiracy claims, restrictive covenant claims and claims with regulatory issues (with international elements - Chile, Singapore, Dubai, Australia, US, and Europe)
- Acting for Viaro Energy Limited, RockRose Energy Limited and statutory directors, successfully defending them in an $85m claim against allegations of unlawful means conspiracy, defrauding creditors and transactions at an undervalue
- Acting on two negligence and breach of contract/breach of fiduciary duty claims for an investment company with a combined value of £75 million arising out of the acquisition of a company for an inflated price
- Acting for an investment company in a claim by India’s largest real estate developer, following the issuance of bonds in a $225m refinancing arrangement
- Acting on behalf of a group of senior oil industry executives in connection with a $5 billion international arbitration in an oil and gas industry dispute, with the hearing taking place in Singapore
- Acting for an Italian bank, in multi-million pound proceedings in relation to the restructuring of financial transactions
- Securing a significant win for a property investment client in a case involving fraudulent misrepresentations made prior to a contract
- Acting on a mortgage fraud claim against a house builder client
