    Macarena is a partner in our Santiago office specialising in Casualty and Financial Lines.

    She joined DACB in 2022 from Zurich Chile, where she had been Head of Casualty and Financial Lines since 2017, with responsibility for developing the insurer’s casualty and specialty lines, designing new products, underwriting relevant books of business and assisting in handling complex and high value claims.  Prior to Zurich Chile, Macarena worked for specialist reinsurance broker, THB Re, placing international programs with large insureds, and for global broker and risk advisor, Marsh, where she spent nine years managing its casualty, financial and surety lines in Chile.
